CDC 2022 data · every reporting clinic · no ratings
IVF success rates, clinic by clinic.
449 fertility clinics across 50 states, each with its CDC-reported live-birth rates by age band, the number of cycles behind every rate, and the US average beside it.
By age band
Every rate in the CDC's four age groups (under 35, 35–37, 38–40, over 40) for patients using their own eggs, plus donor-egg rates by egg and embryo source.
With the denominator
381 clinics show a 2022 live-birth rate per intended retrieval for patients under 35, and each one says how many retrievals it rests on. A rate from 12 cycles is printed as CDC prints it: a fraction, not a percentage.
Against the US average
The CDC's national figure sits beside every cell, drawn from 433,498 reported cycles and 93,556 live-birth deliveries in 2022.
How to read a success rate
The CDC asks every US fertility clinic to report each cycle it starts, and publishes the outcomes one data year at a time (2022 is the latest final release). The rate this site leads with is live births per intended egg retrieval: it keeps cycles that were cancelled before retrieval or never reached a transfer in the denominator, and it is cumulative, counting live births from every embryo transfer within 1 year after the retrieval. A rate per transfer counts each transfer on its own and leaves out cycles that never reached one, so in the older age bands it usually runs higher. The new-patient rows follow first-time patients through one, two or all of their intended retrievals. Read the guide to the report, see why age bands matter, and bring the cost questions to your consult. The CDC itself warns that average chances may not reflect an individual's outcome; a rate is a place to start asking questions, not a verdict on a clinic.
